Audi, the German luxury car maker, has always given the world the true flavor of luxury. After immense success of its different car models in the country and 80% growth in the company’s sales, Audi is now considering India as a serious playground for some big models. The Volkswagen subsidiary is famous for introducing cars with a variety of taste savour, and what's upcoming now is not an exception.
With the sensational accomplishments of its sedans worldwide, Audi has pulled up its socks and is all geared up to launch its all new Audi A3. The sedan was unveiled for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show this year and is expected to be made available in this part of the world by 2013-14.
The scintillating sedan is bestowed with typical Audi grille with horizontal slates and staring eye-shaped headlamps. The overall body seems compact with bold and dynamic appearance along with amazing alloy wheels which add to the sportiness of the Audi A3. The high class Audi A3 sedan promises to race from 0 to 100 kmph in mere 4.2 seconds which is enough to explain the power of the engine present under its hood.
If rumors are to be believed, the Audi A3 will be priced around 20 lakh which will be the cheapest of cars available from Audi. However, no official numbers were made available.
Engine and Specifications of the Audi A3
The all new Audi A3 is expected to be imparted with turbocharged five-cylinder engine which is capable of producing 408 bhp of power and ultimate torque of 369 pound-feet torque. This top of class engine will be linked with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system hinting at some extreme power.
You can’t expect fuel efficient cars from luxury car makers and still the Audi A3 is expected to deliver decent mileage in city as well as on highways. However, there are no official mileage figures available.

The front portion seems similar to Audi A4 with characteristic Audi grille on which the four interlocked rings charm the onlookers. The 20 inch alloy wheels are an exceptional work of moulded carbon fiber and aluminium which further lessens the weight of the overall car.

The all new Audi A3 concept car is expected to be royal and comfortable like its predecessors with ample of convenient features. The interiors of the Audi A3 are supposed to be dual toned with leather upholstery and high class craftsmanship. The seats are expected to be adjustable with complete relaxation for all passengers. The lower section of center console has control knobs along with four large round air vents. The three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel offers two analog dial instruments with black dials and red needles, complemented by additional kidney-shaped displays.
